FAQ

Do I need experience to participate?

Not at all! Most of our guests are first-timers. Our staff will walk you through everything from how to safely hold the axe to how to stick it in the target.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. We welcome throwers aged 10 and up. Minors (ages 10–17) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All participants must sign a waiver.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are required—no exceptions. We recommend comfortable clothing that allows free movement for your arms. (We have shoes available to rent if you forgot yours comes with free socks)

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly recommended—especially on weekends and for larger groups. You can book online or give us a call.

Can we eat and drink while we throw?

Absolutely! We have a full kitchen and bar. Enjoy your food and drinks responsibly in the designated areas. No outside food or beverages allowed.

Is axe throwing a good idea for parties or team building?

Yes! We host birthdays, bachelor/ette parties, corporate events, and more. It's an energetic and memorable way to bring people together.

Is axe throwing safe?

Yes! At Black Axes, safety is our #1 priority. All sessions begin with a safety briefing and throwing instruction from our trained staff. Lanes are designed for separation, and we supervise every throw.
